ELECTION DAY
The Census is Coming. Please Answer the Census by Mail. Every 10 years the Census Bureau is required by the U.S. Constitution to count every person in the United States. In mid-March, you will be mailed the official census questionnaire, and April 1, 2000 is Census Day. Census information is 100% confidential. The Bureau is strictly prohibited from sharing information with any other individuals or organizations, public or private. Also, California communities could lose over $3 billion is federal tax revenue during the next decade if Californians do not respond. Please mail back your census questionnaire promptly.
