"God, Family, The Republic" are my themes as I intend to seek the Presidential nomination of the American Independent Party. The God of the Bible must be first because, as He says in His First Commandment, we are to have no other gods but Him. Any nation (or individual or family) that refuses to acknowledge the sovereignty of Christ the Lord over every area of life commits suicide. As George Washington said in his Thanksgiving Proclamation: "It is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor." No institution in America is under more vicious attack than the God created, God ordained family - this attack being led by homosexuals and other God haters. Increasingly we are being told by out of control courts, and others, that marriage is whatever one wants it to be. This is a lie. Marriage as defined by God, can only be between a man and a woman, and Godly marriage does not need the approval of any government. Finally, the Republic. Sad to say, millions of Americans have no idea that the form of Constitutional government our Founders gave us was not a democracy but a representative Republic. Government should be strictly limited by God's Law and the U.S. Constitution. Judges that rule otherwise must be impeached. As Psalm 9:17 says: "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God."
